About Granero

Thinking of moving, thinking of Granero Moving

Past and Future

In 1967, when Mr. Pedro Granero performed for the first time a moving from São Paulo to Recife, he realized that he was carrying more than refrigerator, stove and furniture. He had in that truck dreams and hope. At that moment, he felt clearly that behind boxes and packages there were life stories, nostalgia and joy.

Thus, GRANERO MOVING was born; a company focused on the segment of load and moving transportation in São Paulo, turning official its activities on March 30 of that year and starting an extremely serious work with Mr. Pedro Granero. Afterwards, with his sons Bernardo and Roberto, vigorous, determined and having a high professional dedication, the growth of the company was effective. Currently, the company has, in its command, the third generation of Granero family.

In 1973, Granero acquired its first brand new vehicles. Bought four Mercedes Benz trucks and was subcontracted by a large moving transport company. That experience made him start his first local moving Division and the expansion was stimulating.

In 1978, after signing an agreement with the Armed Forces, the first branches in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Salvador e Recife were inaugurated. Afterwards, Unities all over the country were deployed, totalizing up to 1993, 34 Branches in Brazil. Any place nationwide can be served by Granero.

In 1993, due to being a strong brand in the market, Granero transformed some of its branches in franchising. The process was so successful that he decided to implant the new system to all branches. There are currently 68 franchises and the company aims 90 Unities up to 2014. Always prepared for new challenges, Granero is enabled to serve its customers, suppliers and friends with the utmost professionalism and dedication, their greatest features.
